We’re excited for your first visit and hope it’s a warm and welcoming experience! We’d love to meet you, answer any questions about our church, and help you get connected. Please let one of our pastors or greeters know you’re visiting, fill out a connection card, or text the number provided during the service, and be sure to pick up a small gift bag with more information about our church!
The Gathering Baptist Church is one church that meets at two locations. Each campus offers Bible studies for all ages and one worship service. We would love for you to join us at one of our two locations:

At The Gathering, our worship gatherings include four main elements. First, we sing together. Whether through timeless hymns or modern worship songs, we unite as a congregation, lifting our voices in praise to Jesus, who is worthy of our adoration.
Second, we believe in prayer here at The Gathering. We take seriously the Lord’s command to come to him with all of our burdens and all of our requests, knowing that he cares for us. So we take time to pray together corporately asking God to meet with us and draw near to us.
Third, as part of our worship, we give generously our tithes and offerings in response to God’s blessings.
Finally, after singing, praying, and giving, we open the Scriptures, believing God speaks to us through His Word, and we conclude with the preaching of His Word.
Absolutely! Kids of all ages are welcome in the gatherings at both our locations.
Gathering Kids serves children from birth to elementary age. Nursery is available both 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM. Preschool and Elementary classes are available at 9:30 AM as well as Children’s Church during the preaching portion of the service.
Students, grades 6-12, have small groups on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM and on Sunday evenings The Well has a gathering for Students grades 6-12 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
Wear whatever you’re most comfortable in. You don’t need to dress up or look any certain way at The Gathering.

Join us as we serve our community through the Harvesters Food Pantry on Monday, June 2 at 3 PM at the Noland Campus. It’s a great opportunity to lend a hand, share hope, and make a difference. Come ready to serve and show God’s love in action!

Outdoor Worship Night
We would love to have our church family come, bring lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy singing and worshipping together on Sunday evening, June 8th!
Meals on wheels – Culver’s Night
Join us at Culver’s (4220 S Little Blue Pkwy) on June 17th from 5–8 PM! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors—everyone’s welcome! Culver’s will donate 10% of sales, 100% of tips, and all round-up donations. Come enjoy great food while supporting a great cause!
Project Shine – william southern elementary
Independence school district’s annual Project Shine is Saturday, June 21, 7:00 AM. Our mission partner, William Southern Elementary, is one of the schools being ‘shined up’! Gathering Wednesday – Wiffle Ball
Join us this Wednesday at 6 PM for a fun evening at Baumgardner Park in Blue Springs! We’re playing a friendly game of wiffle ball and would love for you to be part of it. Bring your friends, your game face, and enjoy some great midweek community and fun!
Gathering Sunday
Join us for Gathering Sunday on June 29th at the Noland Campus. Enjoy breakfast at 9:30 am, followed by a meaningful service at 10:45 am. It’s a great opportunity to connect, worship, and grow together. Bring your family and friends—everyone is welcome for this special morning.
Senior Adult Luncheon
Senior adults, join us for a special Luncheon & Hymn Sing on Tuesday, July 1st at 12 PM at the Noland Campus! Enjoy a delicious meal, uplifting fellowship, and the joy of singing timeless hymns together. Bring a friend and come be refreshed—we’d love to see you there!
